It was an impressive evening shared with friends and colleagues for the star-studded, Broadway-style show "WE...The Passion & Rhythm of the People." Presented by Broadway Director and Cirque Dreams Creator, Neil Goldberg, the show celebrated 100 years of Broward county's diverse history. The show takes you on a journey of the county's past 100 years demonstrated by the talented local people, diverse music and artistic expression. What an evening to remember!

Women of Tomorrow Mentor & Scholarship Program (“WOT”) Graduation Luncheon

It was a beautiful Women of Tomorrow scholarship luncheon today at Parrot Jungle. Many special young women received scholarships from various donors. Pictured here is a student from Miami Jackson High School who received a scholarship from the Meg Green Family Foundation. She is graduating 3rd in her class and is the first in her family to complete high school. Notable mentors and supporters included Robyn Perlman, Kathy Fernandez Rundle, Ileana Bravo, Neki Mohan, Meg Green, Daniela Ricaldone...and of course Jennifer Valoppi and Don Browne.

Cancer Support Community Greater Miami (CSCGM), raised more than $206,000 net at the 2013 Heart & Star Award Dinner, emceed by Emmy Award-winning CBS4 Anchor, Cynthia Demos. Close to 400 business and philanthropic leaders from South Florida came to Temple Beth Am in Pinecrest to honor John Arasi, Champion of the Community Spirit Award recipient, Briana Vega, Champion of the Human Spirit Award recipient and Dr. Richard Zakheim, Founder’s Award recipient. Stand Among Friends emb(race)

Stand Among Friends, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, was formed to help all people with disabilities. Their mission is to promote opportunities for people with disabilities to live a life without limits and experience the highest degree of independence and success in their communities. SAF is excited to present emb(race) 2012, our 2nd Annual all inclusive 1 mile family walk, 5K & 10K races outside our Disability Center at FAU in Boca Raton. A Very HIP Event

Health Information Project (HIP) is a not-for-profit organization, located in Miami, Florida. HIP's purpose is to educate teenagers about their health issues and to encourage and assist them in accessing existing community heath resources. Kids In Distress (KID) is a nationally-accredited, community-supported agency based in South Florida, specializing in children and families. KID provides services that prevent and treat child abuse, while also educating and strengthening families. KID’s programs offer care and support to families that are at-risk for abuse and neglect, and to the innocent children who suffer the effects, by tackling difficult issues like substance abuse, domestic violence, juvenile delinquency, teen pregnancy, school dropout, and family conflict.
